  • 2 cups cooked rice (preferably day-old)
  • 2 chicken breasts, diced
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, corn)
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. In a large skillet, heat sesame oil over medium heat. Add the diced chicken and cook until browned.
  2. Push the chicken to one side of the skillet and crack the eggs into the cleared space. Scramble until fully cooked.
  3. Add the mixed vegetables and rice to the skillet, stirring everything together.
  4. Pour in the soy sauce, season with salt and pepper, and mix well. Cook for another 5 minutes, then garnish with green onions before serving.

2. Sweet and Sour Pork

Ingredients:

  • 500g pork tenderloin, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup bell peppers, chopped
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks
  • ½ cup onion, chopped
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup sweet and sour sauce
  • Oil for frying

Instructions:

  1. Dip the pork slices in flour and then in beaten eggs, coating them well.
  2. Heat oil in a frying pan and fry the pork until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, sauté the onions, bell peppers, and pineapple chunks until tender.
  4. Add the fried pork back into the pan, pour in the sweet and sour sauce, and stir to combine. Cook for an additional 3-5 minutes.

Ingredients:

  • 200g chow mein noodles
  • 300g beef, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 cup carrots, sliced
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced

Instructions:

  1. Cook the chow mein noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  2. In a large pan, heat oil and sauté garlic until fragrant. Add the beef and stir-fry until cooked through.
  3. Add broccoli and carrots, cooking for about 3 minutes.
  4. Mix in the cooked noodles, soy sauce, and oyster sauce. Toss everything together and let it heat through for another minute.
