
Honey Pepper Beef Stir-Fry Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 lb. flank steak, thinly sliced - 2 tablespoons soy sauce - 2 tablespoons honey - 1 tablespoon oyster sauce - 1 tablespoon sesame oil - 1 tablespoon cornstarch - 1 tablespoon vegetable oil - 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced - 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced - 1 onion, thinly sliced - 2 cloves garlic, minced - 1-inch piece of ginger, minced - Salt and pepper to taste - Cooked rice, for serving
Instructions:
1. In a mixing bowl, combine the soy sauce, honey, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and cornstarch. Add the sliced beef to the bowl and toss to coat. Let it marinate for about 20 minutes.
2. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
3. In the same skillet, add a little more oil if needed. Add the sliced bell peppers, onion, garlic, and ginger. Stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are slightly tender.
4. Return the beef to the skillet and mix well with the vegetables. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
5. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through and well combined.
6. Serve the Honey Pepper Beef Stir-Fry over cooked rice and garnish with some sliced green onions or sesame seeds, if desired.
