Ingredients

  • 1 pound of large shrimp, peeled and deveined

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Sweet and Sour Sauce

In a bowl, combine the ketchup, white vinegar, sugar, and soy sauce. Stir well until the sugar is completely dissolved. This mixture will create the base for your sweet and sour sauce.

Next, add the cornstarch mixed with water to the bowl. This will help to thicken the sauce. Stir thoroughly and set it aside for later use.

Step 2: Cook the Shrimp

Now it’s time to add the sweet and sour sauce to the skillet. Pour the sauce over the cooked shrimp and vegetables, stirring well to coat everything evenly. Allow the mixture to simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until the sauce thickens and becomes glossy.
