Preparation Steps

1. Prepare the Filling

Next, add the shredded cabbage, grated carrots, bean sprouts, sliced bell peppers, and chopped green onions to the skillet. Stir-fry the vegetables for 4-5 minutes until they are just tender but still crisp. Add the soy sauce, salt, and pepper to taste. Mix everything well and then remove it from the heat. Allow the filling to cool.

2. Assemble the Spring Rolls

Once the filling has cooled, it’s time to assemble your spring rolls. Lay a spring roll wrapper on a clean, flat surface with one corner pointing toward you. Place about 2 tablespoons of the vegetable filling near the corner closest to you.

Fold the corner over the filling, then fold in the sides and roll up tightly. Wet the top corner of the wrapper with a little water to seal the roll. Repeat this process until all the filling is used.

3. Fry the Spring Rolls

In a deep pan or wok, heat enough oil for deep frying over medium-high heat. To check if the oil is ready, drop a small piece of spring roll wrapper into the oil; if it bubbles and rises to the surface, the oil is hot enough.

Carefully add the spring rolls to the hot oil, a few at a time, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan. Fry them for about 3-4 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Use a slotted spoon to remove the spring rolls and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.

4. Serve and Enjoy
